    Description

    Medium Green Clump Foliage
Mix and match with other foliage to model medium to large ground covers, create variation in trees, shrubs, bushes and landscape hillsides.
Average packaged weight 80g - Foliage will cover approximately 1 square metre depending on how densely it is applied.
    Particle size is approximately 1/8" - 1 1/2" (3 mm - 3.81 mm)
    Natural vegetation gets everywhere!
Even areas that have been cleared
for building work or other man-made purposes
will be encroached over time by nature
in the form of weeds, ivy, grasses, mosses etc.
Therefore to give you layout extra realism, you should recreate this effect to a greater or lesser extent.
You can suggest the passage of time or the amount of maintenance carried out
on your man-made areas and structures by the amount of natural vegetation surrounding them. A dry stone wall, for example, will appear a lot older if there is
vegetation growing around it and in the crevices
. Similarly, a paved area will look older and badly maintained when
there are weeds growing between the paving slabs
, and where walls meet paved or ‘concrete’ surfaces.
One way to recreate this effect is to
    use model foliage
, intended for making trees and bushes,
    on and around your structures
. This product from the range by Woodland Scenics can be used to represent the
    leaves of creepers or vines
on your structures. It can be fixed down with WS191 Scenic cement, dilute PVA or even matt varnish and even cheap hairspray!
